Body Color: males are black or chocolate colored, (some may be lighter and have hint of grey or pale yellow); females have olive abdomen and dark brown thorax

Wings: 1 set, no hind wings, plastic transparent looking

Body Colors: female, olive abdomen and dark brown thorax; male, dark brown or black

Mobility: after mating on slow, weedy streams, spinner falls are intense, blanketing the surface
