Turtle Knot (Same as Turle Knot)

Fly fishing knot used to attach the fly to the tippet; sport fishing knot used to attach the hook/lure to the line.

Advantages: easily tied, turned down or up eyed hooks, straight line pull

Disadvantages: may slip, the lighter the line the greater the slip
