Fly fishing knot used to attach the fly to the tippet; sport fishing knot used to attach the hook/lure to the line.

Materials: monofilaments-light to medium weight lines

Advantages: ties easily, less prone to slippage than regular knot, strong, straight line pull with shank, used for either down or up turned hooks
