Camping Checklist
Preparation is essential for any outdoor adventure. Having the necessary supplies and equipment can make a difference in your overall enjoyment and experience. Checklists are a great tool to help with your organization. Your camping list will vary according to the type of camping and activities you have planned, the places you are going, the time of year and the length of your trip. Add or remove items to suit your individual needs. Please email us with any other items that you would include in your camping checklist.
By popular request, we’re now offering a printer friendly camping checklist!

Thank you for the list! I’m going camping for the first time solo after six years with someone, so this is very helpful.
This is a great list! Very comprehensive without being silly overboard. Thanks for doing this.
Thank you I had fun when o went camping there was stuff i for got.
About that you told me to bring came really usesful thank you.
This list was very helpful!!
This is useful website for information on outdoor travel especially camping safaris.
Tourists travelling to Africa for wildlife safaris will have to consider this information
Love the Outdoor is best place information resource for tourists and adventure people for camping checklists.
To enjoy camping safaris in Africa need good preparation especially by considering checklist provided by Love the outdoor
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL OMGGGG!!!!!!!
Nice

camping list
I very much enjoyed this list, you forgot about the materials to craft a bomb but thanks anyways 8==D
This was very useful, thanks!
Good list but think it would be too much gear for the average weekend camper to take with them. If your camping for a fortnight or more it makes more sense but I found the list more useful for seeing what I might forget and pinpointing certain things. Such as a bottle opener which would be easy to forget, or Travel Alarm Clock…that type of thing. Thanks for list.
Dude, I never comment on shit like this, but I felt compelled. This camping list is very thought-out and efficient. It will help me when I go camping this weekend. Thank you.
Do we need to take the DVD player ???
Hey I am so happy I found your webpage, I really found
you by accident, while I was researching on Askjeeve for something else,
Anyways I am here now and would just like to say thank you for a fantastic post and a all round
entertaining blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to browse
it all at the minute but I have saved it and also added in your RSS feeds,
so when I have time I will be back to read a lot more, Please do keep up the great jo.
Advice for older campers?
Thanks for the list.
Don’t forget the beer!!!!!!!!
Awesome list- for camp chairs I recommend Crazy Creeks!
really all that i cant fit all of that in my car plz make just the basics PLZ
great website
OMG this list was so amazing it helped me so much! i remember last time i went camping i forgot to bring so much things! like i didnt pack extra underwear! and i was on a hike and i had to poo so bad! i started running pack to the site and it just dripped right out! my undies were filled with poo! then i also got my period and it was just horrid mmmm it was coming out like lava! im glad im set for this trip now! (hopefully nothing bad happens) xoxoxoxo Muneet <3
This is a very good tip especially to those new to
the blogosphere. Simple but very precise information… Thank you for sharing this one.
A must read article!
thanks for the help but I’m going on a camp trip with cabins but i used most of your help.
This looks like a bring your whole house camping list.
Not “a house on your back” camping list.
But kidding aside, this is quite helpful for a family camping, in a campsite.
Not for a hiker like me,
Have a great time camping with your family.
A very complete and thorough list. Really appreciate it:)
this is a very good website. But the only problem is that we are actually going camping. how in the world are we meant to cary this on our back the whole time. If you were going in a caravan trip it would be fantastic. But when you are going camping, bringing all of thT STUFF is like bringing your whole house. But yes it is very handy
Good list! its been many years since I’ve camp and I’m about to take my son for his first camping adventure! Just what I needed to get started! Thanks
Wow, I’ve been going camping ever since I was 5 and never took half of this stuff with me lol, but then again I was never prepared:p
hahaha thats exectly what happened to me, only more violent! lol keep calm bros!
Awesome resource! I used this to add to my current list. I laminate it so we can check it off as we pack, then erase it and use it again next time. Since there is some stuff we only need on some trips it makes it easy to keep track of it all every time. Thank you!
Very useful information
Sure is a lot of supplies for a camping trip. A backpack with water, canned goods, dried beef, dried fruit, change of clothes, toothbrush, toilet paper, first aid kit, and tent and sleeping bag should be plenty.
I dont see Fabric softener sheets on your list… Put them in your tent when folding up, or sleeping bag/bedding. When you get them out the next time they smell FRESH!!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on camping.
Regards
What a brilliant list, I Had to build a camping trailer to accommodate all my gear. Going camping for a week now and your list has helped me remember lots of small stuff.
Cheers
I have been camping like 55 times and I’m 11 and we don’t need all ove this not been mean just saying but I do like you list I think it is very yousfull if you are growing more for Cidy camping bout we do more earthy camping lol
Very nice list! This helped alot!!!
That was so darn helpful thanks!!!!!
Thanks!
I think this list is helpful. My husband and I take our little ones out site camping and this list ensures that I pack EVERYTHING we ALL may need. Thank you so much!!!
Don’t forget the wine bottle opener, and bottle opener!
thnx so much for the info am going camping for the first time, with my school
Thank you so much for this helpful list. I am planning an outing for the local boys and girls club and I totally would have forgotten key items like: Saw/axe, road flares, duct tape, razors, ipecac, and a small mirror! My trip will be a success now!
Definately forgot to put protection on there… Firearm is a must if your capable
Geez people! Everyone is complaining that the list is too long! Better it be too long and you leave off what you don’t want to take than not long enough and you don’t have something you really need! It’s a camping list. Not a hiking or a backpacking through the mountains list. Just an average person or group going camping. It’s a good and useful list. If you think it’s too much then don’t pack everything! But some people like the joys of nature with the comforts of home. Thanks for the list!
This is helpful
Just getting into the camping scene, and this list is just great.. Me and my wife are so excited get onboard this adventure..
Folks who have visited this website for info are responsible campers wanting to the right thing n we wish u all good luck..
